My name is Alex Hughes, and I'm so glad you're here. I founded Rize Coffee Company in 2021 with a vision bigger than I knew what to do with. Although I didn't start drinking coffee until high school, my love for it began much earlier. Ever since I was young, my dad would wait to open his new bag of coffee until I was around, just so we could breathe in all that goodness together. Throughout college, I started seeking out new coffee shops everywhere I went. Yet, it was the culture around coffee, the community, that kept me coming back for more.

I see more than just a warm caffeinated beverage in a cup of coffee; I see friends catching up after too long apart. I see the start of a beautiful love story on a first date. I see a young student fueling her fire towards a better life. I see bringing a smile to someone's face on a hard day, or a cup of motivation for a big one. This is not just about great coffee. As delicious and soul-warming as it may be, nothing is more valuable than the love and community this one little drink can bring.
